I thought it was underrated when I was in high school when it came out.

Commando is a masterpiece. I don't care what anyone else says.
1 hundo agree. The heel guy in it was pretty good as well. I think Carl Weathers also made an appearance.

I know Wells was a hot name at the time, especially for bad guys, but Holy shite, they didn't even ask him to work out for Commando and he's supposed to be a semi-equal to Matrix/Arnold.
Instead of asking him to do some crunches and lose his beer belly, Joel Silver thought 'let's just put him in Chainmail! That's the ticket'
Just another reason the 80s were the greatest American decade of all time.
Wells is just so fricking good though. This scene is simply Oscar worthy.

One of my favorite scenes in any movie. The comedic sound of his neck snapping is pure comedy.

My only problem with this masterpiece is why are so many bad guys shooting at his feet? He’s on the same level with them and bullets chewing up ground around him instead of trees behind him. Classic 80s issue we still see sometimes today.

It's hard to find something to complain about.
Anytime I take the trash out on pick up day I think about one of the opening scenes.
If I have to complain about something Rae Dawn Chong screams a little too much.

These old Arnold flicks are packed with amazing comedy.
They are funnier when you haven’t watched one in a decade or two.
One of the funniest parts is when he just completely rips the carseat out of the car. Like it was just attached by velcro or something.
His lines as Mr Freeze in Batman are also gold.

Some of Arnold Schwarzenegger's greatest one-liners are from that movie.

Possible response: NSFW (but still hilarious)

Who else remembers this Arnold marathon spot from the USA Network circa 1990?
