I'd say yeah. I remember this one being pretty intense.

The first 30 or so minutes of Jeepers Creepers is probably the most freaked out I've ever been watching a movie. Then it just goes to total shite. If you haven't seen it, watch it until they reach the restaurant then turn it off.

Couldn't agree more. My wife and I were so freaked out at the beginning that we changed seats in our living room because we didn't want the window at our backs.

By the end of the movie, we were laughing at the stupid monster. Some things are much creepier before you know what they are.

Yeah, exactly. that monster totally ruined it.

That's probably the last horror movie I watched.
A couple of years ago I started to watch the new TCM, but I turned it off. I just don't get the point of watching horror anymore.

Zombie movies like 28 Days Later are a different story. That I can enjoy. But just a f'd up dude murdering people? I'd literally rather watch the grass grow.

Tend to agree. Horror was one of my favorite genres growing up, but I never find myself in the mood for a horror anymore. Maybe I just feel like they can't come up with a new way to scare me. I still enjoy vampire and zombie movies, because I like the vampire lore and the zombie comedy. However, I don't watch either for the horror element.

I pretty much only watch horrors now if my wife wants me to watch them with her.

I just read about Jesus Camp. What is so scary? Sounds like a basic documentary

Thats why it is so scary. THAT shite IS REAL.

It cannot be explained only witnessed.

The original Halloween (1978).

Not the "everyone's a foul-mouthed redneck drunk" Rob Zombie version. He killed everything I loved about that franchise with his two floating turds.

Damn you, Rob Zombie. I hope you experience untreatable constipation and your wife marries me.

It's when religion and it's brainwashing goes to the extreme. It's sad that it's very real and there are people like this in the world.

This sums it up pretty well.. LINK

I've heard the Strangers is messed up scary. The 3 people in the masks are never actually seen? Faces that is.

The scariest part is when the girl knocks at the door multiple times and keeps asking if someone is there... and then comes back a short while later and does it again...

I know alot of people don't care for this movie, but I saw Paranormal Activity before it was released nationwide and it messed me up for a week. Wife still won't watch it. I bought it and watched it again and it didn't have half the affect.

Yeah the first 30 minutes of Jeepers Creepers is what horror should be. Very intense, which reminds me...Pisces, rent High Tension. It is a real intense horror movie and is very good until the final 5 minutes.

But yeah I've never seen a movie with so much potential go to complete shite like Jeepers Creepers.

Aside from its depiction of militant brainwashed zealots who are staging some form of metaphysical resistance movement

no, it's not scary at all

the strangers actually creeped the shite out of me. My wife and I were housesitting the night we saw it and locked that bitch up with deadbolts after like someone said the shotgun part was retarded (plus that boyfriend should have been able to frick those 3 up like a car crash with a baseball bat)
