They did great on this last season. Got back to what originally made the show so good.

Flipping the main character from Carmy (depth, interesting) to Sydney (Michilan Sue because she puts lays on cod ..)
Is the reason this season sucks ...

As a former restaurant person- - this season is giving me ANXIETY and PTSD

with all due respect. Let me know what tv shows you like so I can make sure I write all of them down and make sure I never watch any of them

Sure fig ... the first couple seasons of this show were compelling. Then Storer went retarded ...
He's no Vince Gilligan, Noah Hawley or Jantje Friese
He isn't qualified to be on the same set as writers at that level.

No one said he was you retard. The bear with all its flaws had 4 or 5 of the best episodes in TELEVISION history.

The final season was really solid
I’m so glad we didn’t get a Bearzatto mcclusterfrick episode of an hour of screaming and manic people running around . When JLC showed up to the Bear I thought all hell was about to break loose even more than what was already going on. So glad they kept her subdued this season
I got choked up there when Carmy told Sid they didn’t get the star. Whew that was good
This show, you had to sometimes wade through some shite but the highs of this show are as good as tv gets when it happens
I loved the finale.

Agreed. Hell I think I enjoyed it even more than season 1. Ritchie has one of the best written arcs of all time.

You know there’s a man on the roof?
That’s not a man. That’s a Fak.

The final episode is one of the best final episodes in recent memory.

I really enjoyed the last season. It was like a movie
I did wonder why it rained for 12 straight hours that hard and the freaking famous weatherman was eating there and not on tv. That was 12-15 inches of rain for Chicago. Hard to believe
Carmies just such a bitch. Ignoring a phone call 5 times. Also that interview at the end for the job was cringe. Why does he have to be so awkward

Does it get better? On episode 3 and it’s obvious Carmie is light years ahead of Syd. So of course she throws him under the bus in front of everyone then still plays the victim. They have a star and they keep wanting to make a terrible character the main focus.

No it was Carrmie realizing why he fell in love with being a Chef.

The last 5 minutes of episode 4 is just so elite television with the score and the gameplan and everyone bought in . When the bear is on, it is ON its just so good
I was thinking through the first three episodes that it was not all that great, but the end of Ep. 4 kicked it up a notch. Looking forward to 5-8

Yes you should finish the show. S5 is very quick and most episodes are 25-30 minutes.
Its basically a long movie that all takes place in one day. It had its flaws but the Bear will have its place as an all time great show

I get it.
It’s hard to describe, but I thought the ringer put it really well when they said ever since he was locked in the freezer it’s like they cut his nuts off when he came out.
He’s so awkward and like he can’t talk and always fumbles his words. It just came out of nowhere

Oh there's no doubt I'm going to finish it. This season is apparently better as a binge watch, but I hate doing that, then it's over and I have nothing to watch again. I may have to block out 2 hours and finish it all in 1 sitting, though.
