Yeah.... that was just bad. But I still wanna see how they end it all. Just let Rip and Kacye do Rip and Kayce things and take care of business. And give us a Beth/Sarah catfight. Like the Beth/Summer one. Or a Summer/Sarah catfight.

Looking like this last season is a continuation of "get Jamie" I was hoping the first episode would be so much better, but it was mostly Sheridan's cowboy infatuation again.
Landman looks promising though.

So many thoughts.
First, frick Costner for leaving and forcing Sheridan to try to rewrite the end of this series.
Second, I don't give a rat's arse about what's going on in Texas. This is Yellowstone not 4 6s.
The suicide angle gives them a reason to not show the dead guy's face. But, it was mistake on the hit squad's part. As Jamie's whore said "John Dutton is the opposite of a quitter" shite he gave Jamie a lecture on suicide to keep him from doing this exact thing.
Also, I thought the conversation at the end of the last episode was about killing Beth, not John?
Jamie has to be shitting his pants knowing now both Rip AND Kayce are going to be coming after him.
What happened to John's hippie GF?
The Rainwater thing "the people stand with Angela". shite, the pipeline folks would have been better off battling Rainwater than Angela, she's ruthless and actually wants a war.
The Tate thing "gross, mom, don't use your tongue" just seems so unnecessary. And the mom, "you're going to have to learn these things". They apparently just don't know what to do with that story line.
And credit Gator poster.

They haven’t known what to do with Tate and Kayce’s wife for a long arse time. It seems as if they’ve moved every 3 episodes to their new perfect. I don’t hate the show not focusing on her. The scenes shot around her being a professor were pretty useless and so is she. The best thing she ever did in the show was let hippie girlfriend know why she was hated.

The whole exchange about it between Jamie and her was super awkward, and pretty weak (as usual) on Jamie's part:
Whore: 'This is what you said you wanted'
Jamie 'Yeah, but I only said it- I didn't really MEAN I wanted him dead via staged suicide.'

But her body is amazing. You can tell she puts in work.
As for the show, I'm like others here. I know it's cheesy, but it's a show the wife and I enjoy watching together. I think she sees us as Beth and Rip. We actually went as them to a Halloween party and killed it.
I hope they wrap it up nicely, and Jaime gets taken to the train station.
