I was the same way. There was no compelling storyline that made you want to watch the finale. After the finale was over, I had to double check my DVR to make sure that was actually the finale because it was so meh.

This season was like they had new writers for every episode, and none of them were allowed to watch any of the prior shows.

People should go back and watch season 1 ep3 to start to understand why beth is such a count. Her mom made her into what she is.

I don’t understand the hate on here for the show.
Personally I love the show. Can’t wait for the next season. I will say however I think season 5 needs to be the last and wrap it up with the market equities thing and determine who comes out on top. And get rid of a couple characters whose subplot is played out aka jimmy. They could go further than 5 seasons if they get creative with a new plot but they don’t need to end up like walking dead and it basically start being repetitive after 5 seasons.

The finale was meh I’ll admit that. Didn’t leave cliff hangers for next season and didn’t really even close any subplots out. Good thing is we will get season 5

Yellowstone is so pozzed. It's pretty awful.
Apart from the scenery, it's mostly bad-acting and social-justice undercurrents.
The actor playing Kayce cannot act his way out of a paper bag. Same for the Indian wife. They're pretty people, but such bad actors that I can't give a shite about their characters.
There really isn't a single sympathetic character apart from Rip.
I have no idea how it is so popular. I only watch it so I can talk to people about it when they ask.

Rip beat the hell out of his best friend (Lloyd) rather than defy or anger John. There's no way he's laying a finger on one of John's kids without his blessing. John would never let him hurt Jamie.
Rip would probably say something like "if it wasn't for Mr. Dutton, I'd tear you to pieces" or something like that. He'd leave it there.
