Haven't seen the Dogtown movie in years. It was in heavy rotation in our house along with the companion documentary (my son was into skateboarding).
Watched it last night and there were a ton of unknowns that went on to bigger things...
Sofia Vergara as Amelia (Chino's chick) seen here with Heath Ledger losing himself in the role of Skip Engblom.
America Ferrera as Thunder Monkey
Shea Whigham and Jeremy Renner as Jay's coke-head managers.
Pablo Schreiber as Stecyk.
I forgot that Mitch Hedberg shows up to sell them wheels.
Joel McHale is on for a split second as a reporter.
Eden Hensen of The Mighty Ducks is Skip's sidekick.
If you blink you miss Charles Napier as famous tailor Nudie Cohn.

I think that I watched those movies in fairly close succession and those are the only 2 things I recognize her from, and I made the recognition immediately or almost immediately. Obviously, YMMV.

Watching Woody Allen's Bananas now, it's obvious that Sylvester Stallone is the thug on the subway. But if you saw it in the theater like I did, and then didn't see Stallone again until five years later in Rocky, you'd be surprised to watch Bananas again and realize that you'd seen Stallone in a film without knowing it.
This thread isn't all about actors looking entirely different from their previous film appearance.
