Would a show like “freinds” exist in 2018?

Would it be politically correct to have a show now where the 6 main characters are white heterosexuals?

It's Always Sunny has 4 white heterosexuals
Workaholics had 3 white heterosexuals (mostly)
Broad City has 2 white heterosexual women
The Goldbergs are all white and heterosexual, but Jewish (granted, so was Ross on friends)

i love the question is if friends would exist in 2018 all because of "political correctness" and not on the fact that its a very basic, formulaic, hang out show that really doesnt have a place anymore on tv

and the proposed how i met your father show never got off the ground. just look at the most recent sitcoms to pop up on network television. for the most part, hangout shows like friends and himym are done

A show where a bunch of unfunny 30 somethings hang out in New York City together would kill in 2018. Just like it killed with How I Met Your Mother. TV watchers love that pedestrian shite

6 of the main 7 characters on the #1 sitcom are white heterosexuals, and the 7th is basically a walking Indian stereotype.

Hence why Young Sheldon is on TV. Take an unfunny show and make a less funny spin off.
That nerd show is some of the most unfunny TV I have seen this side of Two and a Half Men and somehow both shows made boatloads of cash.
Conclusion, people are stupid and don't want to be intrigued, they just want to zone out and stroke their low IQ Ego.
