Just got done watching Bone Tomahawk.

The cannibalistic indians scalped him while alive, drove a stake through his mouth, flipped him upside down like a deer and hacked away at his chode until he split open.

Even though it's treated almost jokingly, the assistant girl's death in Jurassic World struck me as excessively brutal and terrifying.

Uncas bailed him out. That wasn't so bad.

My vote is the guy melting in lava in Volcano.

All the ones in the Alien movies, especially the baby aliens popping out of human torsos.

Frankly, I thought I was the only one who thought this.

Short of deleted scenes where she behaves very badly, I can't see a justification for that sort of death for a minor character who had done nothing wrong. Seemed really unnecessary, IMO.

Braveheart died bad. The movie glossed over it, but he was hanged, disembowelled, and likely castrated before the beheading.

Passion of the Christ was a two hour execution, and crucifixion was no joke.

Some of the deaths in Hostel and Saw.

It was a major point of discussion on the Internet after the movie came out. I thought the exact same thing.

I must have missed that, but I'm glad I wasn't alone.

Maybe put spoilers in your title since not everyone has seen that movie, or the others that people will mention.

I agree. I think it was supposed to be comical, but came off as unecessarily brutal and excessive.
