WWZ had the best source material of any zombie story and it was the worst adaptation. So disappointing
if y’all haven’t read the book it’s riveting and smarter than it has any right to be considering the subject. The movie was 180 degrees from that

Honestly, my favorite part of any zombie show or movie is the outbreak and the chaos that ensues. Unfortunately, nearly all end up in a lull where they just hole up and most of the movie is them asking what they should do, trying to escape with 5 minutes left in the movie, and that’s that. Is it logical? Sure. But kind of boring when I want to see how everyone else is reacting to the outbreak.
I enjoyed WWZ because of the constant moving about and showing how a bunch of others are trying to handle it.

If this is your basis for having enjoyed the movie, you really really should read the book. It is a quick read.

I don't see where there is to go after the way the last one wrapped things up. I did enjoy the first though, so I will give it a chance.
