So it’s worth the watch?? Trailer looks insanely good plus the last documentary I watched on Netflix, Icarus, was phenomenal so I’m def willing to give another a try!

Definitely worth a watch and it’s fair to all parties involved. I don’t know who I feel worse for.

Wow...what a great documentary. It literally has it all.

Cults, Greed, Envy, Sex, Drugs, Politics, Murder, Religion, Corruption, Rednecks, Lawyers, Spirituality, Higher Powers, Justice, Injustice....

Jesu....I mean Bhagwan H Christ.

Agreed, incredibly well done with old news footage and participants at the time

Watched the first episode. Very well done.

My wife and I are stunned because her brother quotes Osho all the time and even lived in a commune for a few years. Had no idea who Osho really was or what all went down.

Through Episode 3 and I want to punch Sheela in her mouth.

Ole Bhagwan just seems like a dude that wants to wear a beanie, probably smoke some grass, have orgies and drive Rolls.

This story really does have everything, even the co founder of Nike now. It is fascinating.

This...but she was no dummy. Her lack of conscience for her fellow man in regards to her self centeredness to get what she thought was right seemed to be at odds with the Guru's teachings? In essence, she became the anti-guru...or did she?

Episode 3 ....And it gets better even more crazy!!!

Just finished.

Really incredible overall. IMO, if done right and with completely level heads, this thread and accompanying debate on how in the world things got to the level they did could be 40 pages.

Highly recommend.

All of that was fricked up, but the reasons why they went that route was fricked up too. They bought the land. They developed the area. When they weren’t allowed to do their own thing, they bought out the town.

I’m not saying what they did was okay, but they got screwed too.

Damn, I think you missed almost all of why this happened.

I'll skip simply to why they purchased even the FIRST weapon... do you remember when that was, what happened and who was the catalyst?
