re: Why'd she do it? Right the middle of her show's run, why did Amandla drop that silly vid?

Her major source of oppression is darker skin black people calling her Cracker.

So to have this level of a produced song and video already out. One would think it had to have been written and possibly filmed before the show first aired. Like they knew exactly how the show would be perceived. Like this is what they planned.

Just more fan baiting. They’re going to make a thickly woke show, knowing most fans will hate it. But they do it for The Message. Then, when fans inevitably do hate it, they get to pretend to be victims.

you don't have to consume every bit of her social media just because she's on a tv show you don't like.

Instagram? She made a music video. Posted it for all to see.

Carrie Fisher was 19 when filming Star Wars.

The white knighting (pardon the pun) for this annoying little entitled bint is hilarious to see.

She big mad that her TV show which was specifically made for her is getting trashed by the audience so she’s going to sing about oppression & her hardships?

Boo hoo.

She should be grateful as hell & just stfu.

You sure do spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos breaking down everything she says and does for someone who wishes she would stfu.

Until 2 days ago I had never heard anything she had to say.

It isn't hard to avoid, you are choosing to consume content about her. The video you posted in the OP breaks her 2 minute video into 15 minutes of analysis.

Until two days ago no star of a currently running Disney TV show had put out such a racially charged angry, hate filled music video.

I actually would've never heard about her video if not for this thread. I certainly won't be listening to it.

I hate Steven A Smith as much as you hate this chick, and he is on espn and podcasts I listen to way more often so he is harder to avoid. Yet somehow I manage to do it, if he comes on halftime during a game I'm watching, I swap the channel or find something else to do for a few minutes. If he is on a podcast, I skip that episode.

I don't go find a YouTube clip analyzing everything he said during it. I don't make threads on TD about Steven a either.

You are just making yourself upset.

It had already been posted in the Acolyte mega thread, retroactively and the title mentioned it and the actress by name.

Disney, it's actors and Hollywood are attacking me, personally, as a fan. They've made a trash show, no one likes it, and instead of taking that criticism to heart, they've double and tripled down on the false premise that only because this person is a woman, or that person is darker skinned, does anyone dare criticize them.

And while this little video by a "star" from a Disney show may be unprecedented, the attitude and venom she's spewing isn't a mere one off.

Pedro Pascal did it when he called 1/2 the country racist nazis. Disney did nothing.

Rachel Zegler goes on multiple insufferable rants about how she's due this and that for her make believe work, and she's still (at present) headlining a movie coming out next year. TBD.

But Gina Carano commits the unpardonable sin of saying let's not do what Germany did in the 1930's, or jokingly post Beep Bop Boop on her OWN social media page, and she's fired.

If you're not seeing the problem here, I can't help you.

If you voted for Trump, like the original Star Wars trilogy, think Ariel is a white mermaid with red hair, then Disney thinks you’re racist.

I don’t know about you, but that seems pretty damn offensive.

you're right. we are the target - the oppressor - of her target audience - the oppressed, so we will continue to excoriate this hard left Marxist propaganda every time it rears its head. if you are a white male, it would probably behoove you to get on board, because the Revolution will eventually come for you too.

They fricking HATE you. All of you. And they want to make sure you know it.

It is 100% that simple.

This guy says her video is better than The Acolyte,

He also transcribed the words to the video and says it's about Juneteenth, not the show.

It's too bad the video ,by itself, isn't on YouTube so people that don't want to get on Instagram can see it.

I guess she's counting on no one knowing that she grew up very well off.

But, in her little bubble, she will get nothing but high fives, fully believing that everyone cheers her on - except for those evil racists.

A lot of us are able to detach an actor from a character and a director from a show.

I still watch movies with Kevin Spacey in them and Harvey Weinstein as a director, and they did worse things than say stuff I didn't like.
