Yeah no it's only proof that he knew he'd be crowned king. He did not know of Dany's massacre

He literally set everything in motion for her to go mad

He convinces Sam to tell Jon, then tells Jon himself that Jon is the rightful heir THEN tells Sansa and Arya

He knows Sansa is spreading the truth and warns no one

He knew the locations of ALL the troops via crows etc and could have warned Dany before she lost her dragon, before her friend was captured

He could have stopped anything that was pushing Dany to madness. He didn’t.

He sees and knows everything, he’s the 3ER

yet...he lets it all happen

And THEN says “Why do you think I came all this way?”

And you suspect no ulterior motive?

if they would have given more explanation i would agree with you. But with the quality of writing we have gotten recently, D&D wrote that to mean "I came all this way to help people"

Didn’t he see KL covered in ash too? I know it’s when he’s first honing his powers but it’s logical to assume when he gets better at it he’d go back at some point to see what happened

End with a shot of him and his eyes flash blue. Would have been better than what we got.

I wanted white walkers to start attacking Jon and the rest of that crew to be the final scene.

You would think that and if that ended up being the case I would actually applaud the writers for it. But unfortunately, I think you can chalk it all up to piss poor writing.

Night King was the hero of the story, only killing those he had to kill to try to get to his goal of killing the 3 Eyed Raven, the true enemy of the people.

The Children of the Forest created the Night King to use as a weapon against men, but he turned on his masters and they lost the war with the First Men. Of course, the CotF harbored hatred for mankind ever since and created a new weapon, turning Brynden Rivers (aka, Bloodraven), a Targaryen bastard, into the 3 Eyed Raven. But Bran the Builder constructed a giant wall to prevent the 3ER from coming south to conquer Westeros for the CotF.

Forward to modern times and the 3ER is dying and has to reach out to someone to take his place in the fight against humanity. He chooses Bran (loving the irony of his name) to be his new vessel, causing the Night King to spring into action to once again stop the evil plans of the CotF.

the problem is that the wall has been up for thousands of years and brynden rivers has only bee the 3ER for like 100 years tops

Huge missed opportunity for Dumb and Dumber and I guess the fat man.

All this effort for the throne, only to get clusterfricked by the little shithead cripple making the puppets dance with lifeless, sociopathic apathy.

frick Bran.

Nice thought...but the tournament was not put into place UNTIL Shao Kahn conquered Edenia.

The Elder Gods' goal was to prevent the One Being from rising again. The way to prevent that was to prevent all six realms from being merged.

Bran should have been killed off in episode 1. His storylines always were the worst, and the worst character ended up on the Iron Throne? Hot garbage.

I watched every episode of the show, but I'm glad that this information is not in my head
