The scene of her looking incredible in that lingerie tells the story and shows how brilliant Mad Men could be at its best
She appears and looks amazing, very scandalous lingerie for that time I'm sure, perfect hair, perfect makeup, beautiful jewelry. It's stunning how hot she looks.
Don approaches her and says "wow" lazily and the walks past her without touching her to the bathroom. She goes over and preps the bed.
The entire scene is designed to show how little passion they have. They are having routine boring married couple sex, and the fact she's extremely gorgeous does nothing to change that.
It's shot in such a way you expect him to ravage her and instead he walks by her without even kissing her. It's jarring.

Mad Men is the most overrated show of the 2000s. Dull and duller. Couldn’t sit thru one episode.
It’s a daytime soap opera in black and white. Complete fluff.
