1. Omar (only easy pick);
2. Prop Joe;
3. Carcetti;
4. Stringer;
5. The Deacon (played by Melvin Williams an actual old school Baltimore drug dealer).

List is shite with no Bodie.

Bodie and Clay Davis were awesome characters
But that’s my point
99% of the characters would be the GOAT characters on their own shows
Bubbles is tGOAT
and I forgot to list him
That is how great this show is

“Don’t matter who did what to who at this point. Fact is, we went to war, and now there ain’t no going back. I mean, shite, it’s what war is, you know? Once you in it, you in it. If it’s a lie, then we fight on that lie. But we gotta fight.” – Slim Charles

i post that quote on here a lot
the best wire quote, however, is this gem from season 1:
quote:
You’d rather live in shite than let the world see you work a shovel.

Freamon, Bunk and Slim Charles are always money.
Bubs probably gets my final, no shite, favorite nod because he has the best arc of the series.

I liked Bodie. He was a G until the very end. Wasnt scared of anything.

I think Omar is everyone's favorite but beyond that I always found Bunk to be entertaining and Avon. I know a lot of people love Stringer but he was never one of my favorites but that was only because of the way his character was written. I always wanted to see Kimmy and Snoop battle to the death.

He is also an amazing character. I think the actor is a go-go artist from D.C. or something, I randomly saw some video pop up on youtube about him, which I thought was interesting.

I thought Poot had a good story arc. The fact that he is able to get out of the game with his life at the end of the series felt satisfying to me. At least SOMEONE from the early episodes ends up okay.
