PG-13 is a dealbreaker for me 90% of the time. Especially for a movie like TMHT. That rating basically says the movie is watered down to appease a wider audience i.e. teh suck.

Hmm. You see, I get that feeling from R rated comedies nowadays. Every one of them are R it seems and they dont have anything different from a PG-13 except for a ton of F bombs. Good PG-13 comedies are a dying breed. I blame Apatow.

To answer the question I would say Rango. Looks fun.

Here are my thoughts on the others:

Battle:LA

Looks like a good popcorn flick even though it stars the world's most annoying woman who keeps showing up in action films.

Looks like Independence Day with more action and less touchy feely crap.

Mars Needs Moms

Thank god I don't have kids right now.

Jane Eyre

Might give this a shot when it comes out on DVD. I'm not familiar with the novel though.

Red Riding Hood

Wolfman meets Twilight? Pass.

Beastly

Liked it better when Disney did it and it was animated

The Adjustment Bureau

Looks pretty ridiculous and not in a good way

True, but I don't have to worry about taking those little shits to movies that suck.

I think Rango will likely be the best (it has a Pixar-like feel to it and likely won't have any pop culture references aside from Westerns and Fear and Loathing), but am really looking forward to the Adjustment Bureau. The film I can't wait most for this month though is Sucker Punch. That film is going to be incredible.

That sucks.
My expectations for Battle LA keep getting lower and lower. The crazy music from the trailer isnt awesome anymore.

Did you see adjustment bureau?
If you did, you should look up the thread and read my post and see if I took it too seriously

Brief HIjack: I played my first full 18 holes in over a year last week. Shot a 43 on the front Birdied the last to shoot a 38 on the back Couoldnt put to save my life, but I had fun.
