Fantastic movie. I'm always finding myself watching that and Crazy, Stupid, Love on HBO anytime they are on.

Some really ambitious stuff. I'm thinking about grabbing the novel this weekend.

Apparently it's 6 different stories intertwined within one another. Most of the actors and actresses involved have multiple roles, sometimes even changing race and gender.

Six Minute Trailer

Wow. Six minutes of goosebumps.

I don't know if this is going to be amazing or just totally ridiculous but it looks pretty damn impressive.

Tom Hanks' narration

Awww snap, get the pitchforks ready.
And can somebody elaborate on the Bane plane scene for me please.

Why was he drawing blood from one of the physicists?

To its credit, the film has me up at 4:38 thinking about it and not about the things that were wrong.

I like over thinking good movies

This. I'm just now getting up and moving for work. That ending kept me awake most of the night.

I loved it. Epic in every sense of the word. The only thing that I didn't care for (which is just me being nit picky and not negative at all towards the movie) is that I couldn't understand Bane during his introduction scene in the plane.

The scene was so badass, but I just couldn't for the life of me understand what he was saying. I'll have to watch it over again.
Other than that, fantastic movie. I can't wait to see it again. And again. And possibly again. :nana:

re: Mad Men: Season 5

Great season. I'd rank the seasons 2,4,5,3,1.
So I was flipping through the channels early yesterday morning for something to watch before the July 4th festivities at my house began and I caught a few episodes of this. Cartoon Network was doing a "July Fourth be with you" sort-of-thing and was having an all-day marathon of the series.

I really enjoyed the few episodes that I caught, probably more than I should have. Very interesting and a lot of action and tense moments. It definitely took the sour taste out of my mouth that Episodes 1-3 gave me. I looked it up online and the series apparently bridges the gap between Episode 2 and 3.

Does anyone else on the board watch this show? Looks like there are 4 seasons of it already and a fifth season planned next year.

Also, if you watch the show regularly, I have a question. If I wanted to start watching the show from Season 1, should I start out by re-watching Episode 2, then watch The Clone Wars animated movie that came out in theaters a few years ago?

You think people will get tired of Avatar or will the films be as successful as the first film?
I remember back when The Dark Knight came out, IGN Movies got a very early scoop on the film and they ended up giving it a 10/10.
