Kuroneko

Both on Criterion Channel, directed by Japanese legend Kaneto Shindo. Shindo is one righteous dude, up there with Kubrick imo. He takes horror to another level, not slasher blood and guts stuff, but gets in your mind, unbelievable gorgeous cinematography, unusual for horror genre. His actors are the best, few words, just outstanding body language, emotions.

Only one.

Shocker, a post Nightmare on Elm Street Craven slasher with some striking similarities to Nightmare. Not awful.

I watched 2 so far today. Thanks AMC app! I can easily switch from one Friday the 13th film to the next.

I'll probably have another one done tonight too.

Few more I forgot about from earlier in October:
Scream
Scream 2
Tales of Halloween - a lot of fun
Hell House LLC
Hell House LLC II
Leprechaun (would totally have forgotten to watch this without the thread earlier)

Can add:
Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives
Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood
Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan
My Bloody Valentine 3D - quite goofy without the 3D
Eight Legged Freaks - it's under AMC's horror list

Not really horror but the old lady needed a break.

The Nightmare Before Christmas & BeetleJuice since the post.

Considering; Sinister, Midsommar, or Nightmare on Elm Street next. Probably going to get Alien in as well. Any “must” watch suggestions?
