Marvel has been pretty good about avoiding the sjws. Probably the Harry Potter universe

I didn’t like the character. Just my opinion. But it didn’t ruin the movie for me. I really enjoyed it.

If the SJWs ruin Star Trek I just might lose it.

Given that Quentin Tarantino is directing the next Star Trek, I don’t think we have to worry about this for a while.

Hopefully amazon doesn’t do anything stupid with the LotR series.

I really don’t think that Peter Jackson could make LotR the way he did these days. All I need is the Hobbit as proof, since there were some diversity hires in Dale. I guarantee some shitty producer would force Arwen and the elves to be black these days.

Which franchise is next?

I would watch an all-tranny Expendables.

Batwoman is a lesbian heiress named Kate Kane.

The modern Batwoman is written as being of Jewish descent and as a lesbian in an effort by DC editorial staff to diversify its publications and better connect to modern-day readership.
Wow, I bet those just flew off the shelves.

With Ghostbusters, Star Wars and now Oceans (which doesn't look bad btw), they seem to be going after the most iconic "guy" movies. I'm thinking maybe next we see an iconic western. That would seem to be a perfect attack point, as it's the most traditionally masculine, uniquely American film genre.

So, the Good, Bad and the Ugly, Outlaw Josey Wales (wouldn't even have to change the name) and Lonesome Dove seem to be prime candidates.

What makes you think I'm "thin-skinned"? Because I made a thread about it?

Took me all day to type this up, bud!

We had that Sharon Stone flick right after Young Guns, The Quick and the Dead.

They won't do Good Bad Ugly, since "Ugly"... bad adjective to use when empowering girls.

Someone said MCU seems pretty safe... isn't that the actual concern, though? Which franchise would this feel the most contrived?
To be fair, Thor's taken some diversity and weathered it well; but he remains pretty true to his comic roots.

Panther does worry me a tad , the song they play could be a foreshadowing. "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" might be referring to internal Wakanda strife, or ... it could be something different.

I'm afraid we will see more SJW in the latest Marvel installments.

I'm also absolutely okay with Black Panther going the "black power" route, as long as it isn't BLACK POWER, KILL WHITEY.

If Polar Express was made today, there’s no chance the main character would be Caucasian male.

See, I'm thinking this might be the thing. That might be the motivation for OTHER DUDE to create conflict, to seize power and rain retribution down on "the oppressors"
(which will happen to be America etc). And while BP will reject it, he's going to be pushed, and his allies might question whether they SHOULD fall in line. "Why fight among ourselves for 'Whitey', when you know it's true? Maybe we SHOULD rise up and teach them a lesson".

And BP might actually also believe some/a lot of this himself, but just doesn't want to become the oppressor in turn.

You can go that direction, and either tell a compelling tale, or create a shitstorm. Does a superhero movie have the tact to open this can of worms, without losing control of it?

Again, westerns. A buncha chicks in chaps carrying six shooters is actually pretty ridiculous. I saw the Sharon Stone movie. She was one character. I don't think it counts unless the cast is female dominated.
