5. I've read that Samuel L Jackson is in talks doing something with Mace Windu..I'm not that's a story I want to hear. Some characters need to stay dead...I loved his character but he served his purpose.
Just a few thoughts..
Had not heard this, as a huge star wars fan this is very interesting. Crossing my fingers Disney does a great job. I think most people think Mace Windu had a lot left to give and is a different type of jedi than the others.

Away. Far, far away.
Merge with Star Trek?

The best thing would be to blow it up, pretend like nothing after Return of the Jedi exists and start over

I would like to see the Star Wars franchise turned over 100% to gay people. Just totally freaking gay from the first frame of the film to the last. Next film should be Brokeback Tattoine. Couple of female water farmers finding romance and kicking sand people arse.

3. Bring Knights of the Old Republic to the big screen...I've heard this has been discussed but I don't know how much is rumor. This was a great video game and KOTOR has so much source material that Disney would have to try hard to frick it it...

Don't let Rian Johnson/Kathleen Kennedy anywhere near the next Star Wars movie
Both of these 1000%

What if Disney did something like what Netflix did with Baldersnatch?
What made KOTOR awesome and relatively unique was your ability to make choices and for those choices to impact the storyline in a meaningful way.
What if Disney made an interactive KOTOR series where the viewer makes choices along the way that determine whether you get the light side ending or the dark side ending?

1. Give Jon Favreau keys to the Star Wars franchise. After watching Mandalorian, it's clear he understands the Star Wars mythology and can tell one helluva a good story.
Add Dave Filoni to this and they can just start printing money.

Favreau + Filoni
Disney’s treatment of Star Wars reminds me of Warner’s treatment of DC.
DC has superior characters and mythology to Marvel but Warner’s has chosen poorly with writers/directors and so it has largely failed.
Put Favreau and Filoni in the Kevin Feige role and it would be back on track
Fire Kathleen Kennedy immediately

If corporate interests prevent the frachise from going totally gay, then they should consider giving at least a couple films to the creative team that did Boss Baby. Those people can infuse the franchise with some real blockbusting magic. Baby yoda in a suit? Um yes please.

Is baby yoda also voiced by Alec Baldwin channeling his former characters from 30 Rock and Glengary Glenross because I think I might watch that

I'm not sure it's even possible after the sequels but I'd still like to see someone competent bring Timothy Zahn's books to the big screen.....BUT they'd have to be changed so much now that it's probably not worth it.
ETA Although I do like everyone's idea of bringing KOTOR to the big screen...also see some promise in a KOTNR that someone mentioned (maybe the could develop and tell a good story for Rey in this line).

Just keep JJ Abrams away from it, and we're good.

Oh for frick's sake. People just spent the last 8 weeks gobbling The Mandalorian's crank and talking about how much they loved it. If Obi-Wan is as good or better then everyone will be back on here talking about how much they love it.
But of course we don't want more Star Wars!
If they have good ideas and they can pull it off then by all means, go for it.
Personally I'd rebuild the image of Star Wars on Disney+ for at least another 3-4 years before I even started pre-production on the next movie.
Cleanse the palate of the movies, develop some in house talent and let them get familiar with the setting... and then turn someone like Deborah Chow or Jon Favreau loose.
Treat it like an actual franchise. Get your own people, who have proven they can handle playing in this playground, and then let take a crack at something like the Knights of the Old Republic.

I'd like to see more pre-prequel stuff.

I agree with everything you said, but not this one... I do want to see what happened with Mace Windu after the fall. I would also like to see other gaps being filled in as well.

Best thing they could do is reboot a new story in the existing universe. KOTOR is the beat way to do this.
