Where would you like to see the Star Wars Franchise go moving forward?

Unlike Game of Thrones, which was destroyed with the final season, Star Wars can be rebuilt. I know there are those that say it's over but just for the hell of it let's say it can be rejuvenated. I also realize there is those people that just want to fuss and want to beat a dead horse over these last 3 Disney Trilogies...whatever trips your trigger.
Here's a few things I would love for Disney to allow happen:
1. Give Jon Favreau keys to the Star Wars franchise. After watching Mandalorian, it's clear he understands the Star Wars mythology and can tell one helluva a good story.
2. Continue with the Obi Wan series that's been in the works. He's a beloved character that I think could bring some calm to the current Star Wars Storm
3. Bring Knights of the Old Republic to the big screen...I've heard this has been discussed but I don't know how much is rumor. This was a great video game and KOTOR has so much source material that Disney would have to try hard to frick it it...
4. Make a "Knights of the New Republic" series for the Disney streaming service....We haven't had Jedi Knights in full form since Revenge of the Sith when the purge went down. I would like to see the Jedi order back doing there thing. Like Mandalorian, you could have the adventure of a Jedi Knight and his Padowan (like Qui gon and Obi Wan) doing a monster of the week type series or perhaps the remains of the empire becomes the "rebels" and the Jedi are hunting them down..
5. I've read that Samuel L Jackson is in talks doing something with Mace Windu..I'm not that's a story I want to hear. Some characters need to stay dead...I loved his character but he served his purpose.
Just a few thoughts..

I don’t want Disney/Rian Johnson/Kathleen Kennedy anywhere near the next Star Wars movie

Shrek/Star Wars Crossover? I can dig it
Puss n boots and donkey interacting with r2 and c3po sounds great for comic relief

In the can. Just let it go. You ruined a classic just let it rest now.

You could do a lot diving into the Sith Empire

Disney is a den of child molesting ghouls, who have proven that they generally don't possess any real creativity and can only implement lame formulas while using the franchise as a platform for their dogma, a huge part of which seems to be - you guessed it - sexuality.
I'm also sure 90% of the nonsensical shite they put in the ST was for spinoffs, video games and merchandise, and will continue to be going forward. Knowing all of that, it's hard to get enthusiastic about future projects. The spinoffs from the first 6 movies are pretty good, but what I'm sure will be forthcoming ST spinoffs are going to be ridiculously bad. Crap spun from crap is crap.
Mando is good, but now that it's hugely popular, I'm sure it will quickly be ground into the dust.

Part of me feels this way, but then another side wants it to be genuinely fixed. Can it though? We are looking at a franchise that is hitting a success rate of 45% overall, and that number is only high due to the 100% rate of the first three films. I just don't know if it's salvageable at this point.
I think keeping it as television series may be the only viable approach.

I think they need a big pause (other than maybe a few D+ series).
They need to explore exactly what types of movies and themes are central to the universe. Mando under Favreau has nailed a lot of what works for that.
I think the next one should be a very different timeline than they've currently been in.
Maybe something much earlier from the founding of the jedi order, republic, etc. Something which also, if it involved jedi/sith, doesn't teeter on someone switching from one side to the other.
The biggest thing* though - is to have a specific vision and plan for what will be made. Choose directors carefully which align with the vision.
*other than sending KK off to the retirement home.

The Star Wars Universe is so big that you could make 100 films a year and still not get close to running out of ideas.
But Disney has to take some real risks. They have to stop worrying about all the external bullshite that they’ve worried about under Kennedy and go out and hire some talented writers and - this is the most important part - let them write and create. Stop trying to fit everything into a box.

Merge with Star Trek? That would be awesome just for what it does to the two fan bases.

A Star Wars/Star Trek/Doctor Who (as long as it's not the stupid woman doctor) crossover.

Call me crazy, but I think D&D could probably make a mean show of KOTOR. You know, since it’s done and all.
