Agree with all of this.

Rocket and Thor would be awesome and there's not really a more comelling "Big bad" out there like Thanos that is both already semi-well known and has the depth of that character.

The rest, like Galactus, etc, are all just kind of forces of nature or just stereotypically "evil" for evils sake.

If done right, though the entire xmen franchise could be saved by doing a proper m'cran crystal/dark Phoenix saga starjammers saga

I think the next phase will feature the skrulls. This could phase our original avengers out

Galactus is not stereotypically evil, nor are Doom, Kang, The Shi'ar, The Beyonder, or a host of other solid villains.

Is a very solid bet, and it nicely fits in being Earth focused, but cosmically oriented. It could work.

I kind of feel like of the "original" three, you'll see one die, one retire, and one continue on.

The obvious choice to continue on is Thor. I think I even remember Hemsworth saying he wanted to keep on.

I could see Tony "retiring," with RDJ maybe showing up in cameo appearances. Cap is the most likely to die.

I think everyone is in agreement with where they have gone with Thor, and making him quite the powerful badass. Problem with that is what kind of small time villain poses even the slightest threat to him at this point? He's so powerful right now that he's not going to get out of bed unless the world is about to end.

Maybe I'm alone on this, but after Thanos is finally taken down.

I would like to see some solid solo movies. There can be some cameos every now and then. They can make another Avengers, but let's save that for 10 years down the road maybe.

I want to see some more Black Panther action in Wakanda. Possibly see Mbaku become Man Ape from the comics.

See Tom Holland's Spiderman step into his own and out of Tony's shadow.

More fun with Guardians of the Galaxy.

Possibly introduce more characters into the Universe such as She-Hulk, F4 or even bring in the Netflixverse with the Defenders.

Thanos was the big big bad ever since Ironman 1. I don't want this to be played down by introducing someone else to replace him as soon as he is defeated.

what? galactus only feeds to stay alive, he made a deal with the FF not to 'eat' earth and expresses remorse when he consumes other planets with life on them.

Stop making the movies, you can’t top Thano’s as a villain. Walk away

Didn't they already use him? Silver Surfer defeated him in that stupid Fantastic Four 2 movie.

We went through Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2 before we got to an Infinity Stone in Thor.

I’d actively pull for Thanos if he used the time stone to erase that from existence

Spector and Rider, who they mention in the article, are probably my top two wants in terms of new heroes. Nova is a painfully obvious inclusion with Xandar's problem, and with a more cosmic MCU in the future.

The Spector storyline could be a more cinematic take on what they have sort of tested with Bucky, with the craziness and coolness amped to 11.
