I’d like to see a movie about the two thieves that were crucified with Jesus.
If we’re going the biblical route, a movie about Elijah would be wild if done faithfully and well-produced.

Not technically one event, but I would love to see a movie on the life of John Paul Jones (the sailor not the bass player for Zeppelin)

I'd love to see a movie/TV series about the Storyville vice district in early 20th century New Orleans.

The story of Tomás de Torquemada and the Spanish Inquisition.
While Mel Brooks made a hilarious parody of this guy the real story would be pretty intense.

There are a million movies ITT that I would love to see.
Personally, a Korean War film would be cool.

Last battle of WW2 in Europe. Itter Castle. The Americans and Germans fighting on the same side. Pro tennis player escaping the castle making a mad dash to find help. Meeting up with American tankers.
Supposedly already has a movie, but most people have never heard this story. Want it to be a series and not a movie.

The Bonus March/ The Bonus Army
In 1924, Congress passed The World War Adjusted Compensation Act which awarded U.S. Veterans of WWI bonuses in the form of certificates that they could not redeem until 1945. After several years of Depression, most vets began calling for their bonuses immediately.
In the summer of 1932, Congress was set to vote on the issue. Over 17,000 WWI vets, many with families in tow, found their way to Washington DC to protest for the bill's passage.
They stayed in parks and abandoned builidngs in DC, and also set up a large camp in the Anacostia Flats. Using their military experience, the vets' camp was well-regulated, orderly, and sanitary.
The bill for immediate payment of the bonus passed the House in June, but then failed in the Senate. Some of the vets moved on, but many stayed. Hoover ordered the vets to be cleared out of DC. Washington police were the first to attempt this, with resistance by the vets. As a result, the US Army was called in. Operating under direct field command of MacArthur, the Army led an effort with cavalry, infantry, tanks and machine guns to push the "Bonusers" out of Washington.
They first cleared vets out of different areas of DC, then led a full out assault on the Anacostia camp, burning it to the ground in a tremendous blaze seen all over the city.
There was a very good documentary on PBS about this several years back, but I think it would be great story for the full big-budget big screen Hollywood treatment.

Richard Marcinko
It would be funny seeing Marcinko breaking into a general's home and giving the general a swirlie.

I would love to see a movie about the Acadian people driven out of Canada by the English. Or just just a story about a random Acadian family's journey through the new world. I can already imagine how horrendous the accents would be tho.

The rise and life of Constantine the Great would make an incredible movie if done right. Probably one of the five or ten most important people who ever lived and you hardly ever hear or read much about him, at least relative to the importance of his life and impact.

Mel Gibson apparently wrote an epic Viking movie in the same vein as Apocalypto and I really, really want him to make that movie.

Never heard of this - just spent a little time on Wikipedia and can say I have zero interest in seeing this in a movie.

It's not a good look for MacArthur and Patton.
