Am I the only one here confident enough in his masculinity to admit I loved watching the Smurfs?

Also remember liking a Pac-Man cartoon and one where Mr. T travels around with a team of adolescent gymnasts solving crime, because f it, it's the 80s!

you're definitely old school. But Saturday mornings back then were awesome, you knew you were at the end of the great cartoon run and noon was almost at hand when they started showing fat albert. Lol

It is crazy how kids now have everything to watch at their fingertips when back then you watched what came on. You also didn’t want to miss it.

This is the order for me.

Any one remember this one? Short-lived but honorable mention. I liked the bad guys. They had really awesome weapons.

To be honest, the Saturday morning cartoons never quite cut it for me. I'd watch them, but what I really found far more amusing were the weekday cartoon reruns, comprised of packages of old theatrical cartoons... Popeye, Looney Tunes, Heckle and Jekyll, Tom and Jerry, Mighty Mouse, Woody Woodpecker, and such. They always struck me as so much more vibrant, so much more lively and amusing.

Saturday morning stuff? Dang, I remember when one of the networks brought back 'Tom and Jerry' in some newly made cartoons... and they were buddies! They were shaking hands with each other in the opening credits! I mean, what the hell? Neutered, non-violent mush. That's the sort of thing that ticked me off about the Saturday morning cartoons.

A quick threadjack to say that Ted Knight would've been 99 today. He was the announcer/narrator for DC's pre-Batman-The-Animated-Series animated cartoon series. From 1967's Superman/Aquaman Hour through the different Super Friends series.
