I'm not normally a "kids these days" kind of person, but seriously, kids these days will never know the pure, unfiltered anticipation and joy of Saturday Morning Cartoons.

We got one sweet half-day to rule the TV and just veg TF out watching some of the best cartoons to ever exist.

OG TMNT.
Transformers G1.
Garfield and Friends.
fricking Tale Spin.
OG Duck Tales.

frick. I'd give up everything to go back to that time.

Was I the only kid that was totally confused by the two totally different Ghostbuster cartoon series going on simultaneously?

That was probably my first introduction to intellectual property rights and licensing, at age 10.

Tranzor Z, which is apparently an adaptation of a different anime that apparently I'm one of the few that remembers.

I got you, baw. TranzorZ made my list.

While not a cartoon, Space Giants as popularized by TBS back in the day was another Japanese import that until the last decade or so, I was convinced I'd entirely concocted in my own mind, since it seemed that no one ever remembered it when I brought it up.

a little bit older: recess, aaah real monsters

I'd add Muppet Babies to when I was younger.

Top top tier:
Recess
Rugrats
Muppet Babies

Way up there:
Doug
Ducktales

Great:
Aaah Real Monsters
Dexters Lab
Hey Arnold
Rockos Modern Life
The Wild THornberrys (nobody better hate)

Good:
Cat-Dog
Batman: The Animated Series
Daria
Inspector Gadget
Darkwing Duck

Oh yeah for sure, but X-Men, Spider-Man, DBZ, and Gundam Wing came later and were weekday afternoons after school.

Fox Kids and Toonami had those weekdays on lock.

Was that V-Force or something like that? I'm trying to remember without looking it up. That and the OG Speed Racer came on in an Anime block somewhere...likely Catroon Network, but they weren't a part of Toonami that I remember.

Looked it up...G-Force. I was close!
