I couldn't tell you where all these are available. Prime has a ton of westerns. The more obscure ones are often on YouTube.

There's also the westerns channel

One of my favorite movies ever and one nobody I know has ever seen. Open Range is probably my favorite Kevin Costner role after Field of Dreams. Coincidentally I love Wyatt Earp. Tombstone is more fun but I love Wyatt Earp as a more accurate and realistic changeup

Me too. I also really enjoyed Quaid's take on Doc Holiday.

"Dave Rudebaugh is an ignorant scoundrel.
I disapprove of his very existence.
I considered ending it myself on several occasions, but...self-control got the better of me. Besides...I'm a sporting man, not a killer."

No one’s mentioned it yet, but The Proposition is a fantastic Western set in Australia.

I haven’t seen Appaloosa listed yet either but most posters are just listing their favorites.

Looking for mercenary stuff. Also US army vs native Americans stuff

They Died With Their Boots On; about Custer

The Missing; Tommy Lee Jones’s granddaughter is kidnapped by Indians that left the reservation and he goes to get her back. Cate Blanchett is also in it.

Agree with most of the others that are recommended.

Death Hunt and Seraphim Falls are both about a guy being chased by a group of men. Not sure if that fits the mercenary category or not.

I nostalgia big time for John Wayne, so I’m just going to use generic “John Wayne” as my main entry.

Then if you go strictly by which ones I’ve watched the most times, it’s probably:

Maverick
Magnificent Seven (The old one)
Open Range

I always likes Mackenna's Gold. Saw it in a drive in theater with my father a long time ago.

Also True Grit.
