Just about anything Stephen King related where he has a role in the movie making process. Kubrick did a great job re-writing The Shining but stuff like Under the Dome (I know not a movie) and the 2 IT's were

Dark Knight (gonna catch heat for this, but Nolan has a tendency to beat you over the head with whatever his message or statement he's trying to get out). A good movie overall, just should have been shortened under 2 hours.
Agree, though its still a great movie.
+1 they squeezed two face into the film when it wasn't necessary. He's such a great character but I hated how Nolan used him.

The Deer Hunter. The wedding celebration scenes went too long and added nothing to the plot.

Star Wars Episode 1. Could have cut out the 30 minutes of pod racing.

Speaking as a John Wick fan, no John Wick movie should be more than 2 hours. At almost 3 hours…..just end it, already.
Seemed like 30 minutes of it was rolling down steps.

i get why the director really did an extended focus on the pre-war lives of the main characters with the wedding, the hunting trip, and the bar sing-along in order to really make the viewer feel the impacts of how much the war changed their lives. but yeah man, it just drags on way, way too much.
that said, when it finally makes the transition to Vietnam...that's a pretty cool "oh shite" moment in the film

The Dark Knight’s one weakness is it dragged on. Should have ended after Rachel died.

The Batman. I love the first two acts, but the last act gets tedious.

Maverick. Good movie, but had like 4-5 scenes that could have been the natural ending.

The dark knight rises was better than the dark knight

Inception. But wait, here's another slo-mo shot of the van falling for 20 seconds.

Batman vs Superman could have been a lot better is they cut about 20 minutes out. The collateral damage scene with Bruce Wayne on the ground watching a fight we've already seen was unnecessary. That was the biggest offender but other parts could have been shortened.

I finally saw Trap the other day. M. Night could've cut about an hour and 40 minutes off that one

Good one. Nobody wanted/needed an hour of the human characters on a fricking boat.
