It's too bad they can't make any of these games rated-R. Like a rated-R Skyrim where the cat people are just frickin crazy and the elves do.not.give.a.frick.about.you. Just one culture shock for the kiddies, huh??

Halo would be tight. Destiny, however has one of the most incoherent stories I've ever heard.

I’ve long thought Halo or Gears of War could be YUGE with well done trilogies.
I still feel Assassin’s Creed is a really unique concept with a better done effort than the movie with Fassbender. Every movie with different casts and eras but an overarching story in present day with maybe some recurring roles.
One I hadn’t seen posted is Metroid. Would likely be CGI heavy but could have some great scenery for sure and some great stories to draw from

The problem with Metroid is that Samus is largely alone killing monsters and is best left silent (Other M makes me shutter). I don’t know how you make it work and be true to the franchise.

Oh I agree, it’d be difficult to do. Maybe she’s just a badass, the helmet and silence could be a kind of intriguing mystery to keep the viewer hooked while leaning into AI or side characters to carry the dialogue till the end. Really, I just enjoy the series and think it’d be an interesting one to try. How that works, well...that’s why you and I aren’t paid the big bucks to make movies
