Hard to really care about Caleb and Francis at this point in the series. Not a great episode

Yup. only 8 episodes. Rushing through the storylines and not taking time to set them up or develop characters so audience can get attached to them.
We never hear of Serac but suddenly he is some super villain we are supposed to hate.
Read an interview with Ed Harris last week. He said he was not happy with his character this season and said it wasn't what he signed up for.

Finally got Delores vs Maeve pt 1 I imagine but it was epic as was the whole ep imo the realization of Caleb

I just dont understand how some injuries are NDB, but some injuries are seemingly life threatening.
Like we get clementine back and she gets shot 10 times, and its NBD, shrug that shite off.
Dolores loses an arm and ends up crawling away.
We’ve seen similar things before, 1 gut shot disables Dolores to near death to meet caleb, but then she gets shot 4 times protecting Caleb as NBD. Hale literally got exploded and was NBD.
If they could be somewhat consistent in severity of injury I think it would do wonders.its already hard enough to care about consequences for A.I. bots, but you really give up when they toggle they impact/danger as well.

This show is not good, and this episode was absolute garbage. Almost quit watching with the all-girl takedown at the beginning, but hung on hoping they would progress with Ed Harris. They didn't. Pretend sniper guns shooting at a CMU warehouse and a fight under a shed is what we got.
Does Jeffrey Wright get paid the same for every episode he's in? If so, I wonder how much he got paid per word so far this season. What a waste.

Sure but your second paragraph makes less sense when you consider she just got up and drove off after killing the fake cops after she was wounded in front of Caleb the first time. He thought she was about to die, then she went terminator. He didnt need her to get shot again to realize she was non like a normal human. He already saw her defy death. It makes no sense to be more bewildered the second time than the first.
If she’s so unstoppable why is she crawling and barely able to get to the EMP after getting ’wounded’?
