Seeing Rachal McAdams' name there, all things being equal I'd rather a sequel to Game Night, which was WAY funnier than it had a right to be and wasn't 15 years ago.

Christ, not every movie needs a sequel. I loved the first one but wtf man. Also how the frick do you make a sequel without Will Ferrell being one of the main cast? frick you hollywood.

He has like 5 minutes of screen time in the first one, and it doesn’t say he’s not going to be involved at all so it would make sense if he was still just in a cameo role

as much as I like him...do NOT bring back Will Farrell as that same character.

Unless of course he’s crashing some event and hitting on Vince’s or Owen’s daughters.

He and the Walken/Bradley characters are the only ones I have any interest in learning more about and that interest is minimal at best. The arcs of the main cast are done, finished, played out. I don't give a frick if they had marriage problems and "got the band back together". It's like The Hangover all over again. Just let it go.

Gonna take my own advice now

Using Walken’s connections, Owen begins a run for President.

For the longest time I did not know these were Dwight Yoakum and Rebecca De Mornay.

Dwight looks a lot different without his hat and leather pants.

What the frick is the angle here?

Not going to lie, if Hollywood was going to do a female based sequel, this would be ripe for it, but there isn’t a good comedy writer in the state of California so they would just frick it all up.

If this comes to pass, this movie will suck so hard.

It all depends on the writing. If it's not like Dumb and Dumber Too where Jim Carrey forgot how to be an actor and the script was something Trevor Noah would write it'll probably be decent

Just don't see the point in this. Hollywood has done too many of these way to far after the fact sequels and none of them have lived up to the original. It'll be a lot of rehashed jokes, nostalgia, some kids, and a whole lot of MEH. I've reached a point where the cash grab sequel doesn't bother me or hurt my love of the original. I just hope for a day when they do one of these things right.

I'm still holding out hope for Ghost Busters Afterlife.

Eh, we’re about to have a movie with a 60 year old fighter pilot, why not have a 50 year old married wedding crasher?

What does it matter? The comedy genre has been in such a slump I’ll take the chance that this doesn’t suck....I mean it in all likelihood will suck but who cares ?

Yeah, I mean no one is more tired of chewed up IP than me but this is pretty much the only way to get a studio to finance a decent size budget for a comedy

Despite all the hemming and hawwing about the bad comedy sequels that we’ve had lately, they don’t make me think any differently of the original movies so there’s not much to lose
