I would bet not.

Lindelof goes back and forth on whether he wants to do another season. HBO clearly wants more and called it a “season” all year instead of a mini series.

It might be another person besides Lindelof running it, and/or it might be a different story in the universe than this one, but I would say it will come back in some form

I stopped following ‘reddit theories’ after Westworld. It ruined the show for me.

Yeah, reddit takes a lot of enjoyment out of watching shoes with a lot of mysteries like this. With so many people watching these shows they inevitably figure out the twists.

So, I’m not trying to read spoilers, but for those of you that finished the show is it worth it to dive in? I’m sort of on the fence regarding whether or not I want to watch it.

I loved it. If you have read the comics you'll definitely enjoy it. And I've even seen a bunch of people that never read the comic or saw the movie say they enjoyed it as well.

That being said, if you haven't read the original it wouldn't hurt to do a little background research in the original comic first.

I would say, yes.

I know a lot of people have bitched about the SJW, racism shite in the show, but they are over-blowing it imo.

No clue if you even care, but others might, I’m as conservative as can be and while the first episode kind of made me cringe in regards to what may be to come, the writers did a great job fitting it into the story as a background plot device that really doesn’t matter.

If you have time and haven’t seen the movie I’d recommend watching it before starting. It isn’t vital, but you’ll have a lot of good information going into the show in regards to the characters and word building.

Yes it's very good.

If you can make it past the 1st episode and don't have the mentality of those on the Poli board who think everything is political and meant to put down the white man you will definitely enjoy the show.

Ironically the people who got up in arms because they made white supremacist the bad guys in episode 1, they completely missed the criticisms in the same episode that was launched at extreme liberalism because they were too busy melting

Solid advice. Thanks for the answers. I think I will rewatch the movie first, and then dive in. I believe I’ve only seen it the one time in the theater, and that was what 10 years ago, so I’ve forgotten most of it, if not all of it.

The SJW issues don’t affect me one way or the other, my main hesitation is basically because of Regina King. I think she’s a solid actress, but I can’t fricking stand her.

Outside of the ‘badass woman that can kick any man’s arse’ trait that they gave her on a couple of occasions my only complaint with her was age. I feel like she looked a bit too old for the part, but I haven’t heard anyone else mention that.

Mid-80's Veidt would've whipped around and broken Looking Glass' spine. 2020 Veidt is a shell of that guy.

My best guess for his reason for it is that it was necessary for him to fall in love with Angela.

He tells her that the moment he fell in love with her was when he said his death was inevitable but she fights to stop it anyway. If Dr. M doesn’t accept his demise but instead wrecks shop on 7K, Angela doesn’t get the chance to try to save him, so he never falls in love with her, so he never bothers meeting her in the first place.

He only meets her because he falls in love with her, and he only falls in love with her because he accepts his death as inevitable, and his death becomes inevitable as soon as he meets her. It’s the chicken or the egg all over again.
Wow, that's a great theory. Good stuff.

My only follow would be what are the theories/reasons he passed on his powers to Angela?

I feel the same way. Something about her just grates on me. Wasn't she in 24? That's where the utter dislike began for me.

Better just give it a whirl and decide for yourself.

I think the show is terrible , but i would recommend you giving it a try, binge watch over holiday. Must watch all episodes to give it a final decision on the show. Watching only a couple won't give you a true read on the show.

I don't believe for 1 moment, that she would kick anyone's arse, let alone grown arse men. If she had a super power, then you could allow it, but lol at her hand to hand combat, kicking mens arse at will.

Gina Carano, Laila Ali, Serena Williams are believable, Regina King is not.
