Finally got around to watching the last episode. It amazes me that so many of you people liked this show. A shite ending to a series that was predictable, chock full of lazy cliches and ultimately pointless. 1 star out of 5.

You had it as a 1 star since the very 1st episode and just pop in to complain and let everyone know you think it sucks. We get it. Now you can go back to watching Madam Secretary.

My "tastes" have nothing to do with a show that was poorly conceived, written, acted and executed. The comic book was brilliant and the movie a solid adaptation. This series cheapened that with stereotypes galore, half-baked plot twists and an end to the Doctor that was entirely uncalled for and likely not possible.

I have as much right to comment about this show, in this thread, as any of you. You're not the thread police. I've never watched Madam Secretary. What was great, or even good, about this series? What great, insightful moments were there? Those were the claims about it, right? That it held some potent social commentary? Well, what are they?

Of course you have every right to post in this thread. I just dont get somebody continuing to watch a show that they clearly hated from the beginning and then come post the same thing over and over. It's not like you were invested in a show for multiple seasons and just wanted to ride it out until the end. You hated it from day one, and for some reason kept watching something you hate and then come on here and post the same thing each week. It's just weird.

Show me one post where I've used the word hate to describe my take on the show. You can't do it, because I have never said I hated it. I think it is fatally flawed. I have taken issue with the premise of it and other aspects like cliched stereotypes. I have asked multiple times for those who like the show to explain why and what meaningful message exists in it. Instead, I get replies like yours which misrepresent what I have said and tell me to leave. Are you that thin-skinned that criticism of something you like causes you to disengage from dialogue?
