It was fun. I don't get the hate.

Sure there were some plotholes (Why not just take Crypto to a yellow sun?) but all in all it was a fun movie. Millie Aycock was good as Kara. Momoa killed it as Lobo.

It was fun. It was entertaining. What more do you want from a superhero movie?

You probably didn't pay Theater prices to watch it, so you got your money's worth.

I thought it was fine. 6/10.

Milly was fine, the script was retarded

To quote the South Park guys, the script is filled with "and then. . .", and not a lot of "because" or "therefore"

The villain was laughably unimpressive

The final needle drop was the worst in Gunn's career.

Watch the "Pitch Meeting" for it. Really nails most people's gripes about the film

I don’t know what I was expecting, but something more down to earth. They made her seem like a troubled teenager type in Superman. Idk, maybe a mean girls type of thing.

I just thought it was a generic “whatever” type. Not the worst thing I’ve ever seen. But absolutely nothing more than a generic, basic, comic movie.

A couple of years ago, I made the decision to just not expect perfection from media. It's not that I don't enjoy great films, books, etc. I just don't expect everything to be a 10/10 film -- which I think has become the absurd benchmark.

I'm not a film critic. If I enjoyed my two hours or so, that's perfectly fine by me. If I didn't, I will say it (see my post on Disclosure Day). This was a perfectly fine movie.

Did it bring me to tears? No. Were their some weird contrivances? Yes. But all in all, it was fun. I enjoyed my viewing experience.

Opinions will vary, but I have watched so many mid movies over my life -- some I still go back to like Hudson Hawk and the Wind and the Lion. Not everything has to be the greatest ever. Enjoying a solidly mid movie doesn't make us enjoy the greats any less. It makes us enjoy them more.

Unfortunately for Supergirl it committed the act of being a just ok film centered around a realtivley unknown superhero that's part of a brand that's been tarnished through years of mediocre to bad films.

Superman and The Suicide Squad were solid but films like Blue Beatle, Flash, Shazam, and Aquaman were ok to down right awful

I never even finished it, the plot was dumb and Millie couldn't hold a candle to Melissa Benoist

I also didn't think it was as bad as everyone was making it out to be. It was just a generic comic book film, and those are really struggling now. The days of every comic book film making good money are over. They need to do better.

Going to see a movie in a theater is far too expensive these days to sit through two hours of "meh."

Exactly how I felt about it. It's no masterpiece to watch over-and-over, but it was an entertaining movie.
