I've caught some reruns on tv lately and it reminded me just how great that show was. The cast was perfect and every episode is great. I know it spawned alot of similar medical shows but none seemed to last.

What other shows fall under the same genre?

I never watched those kinds of shows, but I knew people who did (and who loved them).

I say this half-seriously, but the "serious" episodes of Scrubs are some that I think should be placed up against any competition in this category. That are that good IMO.

It's not the best show ever... however it's my personal all time favorite...

bought seasons 1 and 2 in 2007 and bought every season until I caught up with it live a year or so after... yikes what a waste of a bunch of money now that it's available to stream.

But yes. I've always said If i get a dog, he'll be named Carter. one of my favorite characters of all time in any show.

The only medical drama that I've ever liked was The Knick. That was a really good show. Other than that show, I've never understood the appeal of medical dramas. I just find them so boring and tedious to watch.

I'm not ashamed to say that the first two or three seasons of Grey's Anatomy was pretty good.

You should be ashamed to say that.

The last few seasons as usual were not great but before that it was definitely a top 2 to me.

1A) ER
1B) House
3) Mash

I grew up watching St Elsewhere and have watched it in syndication and it is pretty great but it can't quite keep up.

Is Scrubs a comedy or dramedy?

ER is the best serious one. Others may have been equally as good but didn't have the longevity. Also the most realistic.

The first 4-5 years when Clooney was there was must see TV.

I find the dramas as tedious as the lawyer shows.

1. MASH
2. Scrubs
3. Nip/Tuck for the TNA
