I never walked out of a movie back in the old days when Cinema's were just 1 giant screen (where you gonna go? Just home? That's no fun for a kid waiting for a ride later.)
But when Cineplexes came out...seeing movies was like a taste test. You'd pay for one to get in, if it sucked you'd hop out and see what else is playing, take a peek in every theater, watch a few minutes and if it looked good you transferred.
Better than sticking it out with the clunker you bought the ticket for or asking for your money back.

The Da Vinci Code.
It was so bad I felt panicked about my life passing me by and I had to get the hell on.

In The Cut. Why did I go to see it? Well full frontal nudity from Meg Ryan back when she was still hot.
The problem? They used a hand held shaky cam for most of the movie and after about 30 minutes my motion sickness went haywire and I had to leave.
Do I regret not seeing a cinematic, full screen, vision of Meg's muff? Sure. But I think the erotic appeal of it would have lost something if I was throwing up at the time.

Stigmata. I didn't really care to leave, but I wasn't driving and the group I was with had decided to leave so I had to leave as well

A group of us decided to see a movie after drinking at a bar during Monday Night Football.
It was a late showing and it was Seven Years in Tibet; due to the movie and beers friends were falling asleep.
So we switched to Boogie Nights as it was just starting at the last showing around 11pm. Best idea.

As I've posted here before, my only time walking out was The Hobbit (1977). I didn't walk out because the movie was bad. My friend and I were too wasted for it. The beginning scared us. It had some crazy scary creatures with scary voices. We must have had the best pot available in 1977.
Trailer on YouTube
ETA: We left and went to Taco Bandido to take the edge off of that primo weed.

The New World. Just didn't enjoy it and it was late.
Also, the Punisher. Not a great movie but I was into it enough. We had a buddy pass out during the "torture" scene when they (off-screen, I believe) ripped out piercings. We left the theater to make sure he was all right.
I think he did the same thing during the amputation scene in Master and Commander but I have no recollection of leaving the theater. Someone else must have helped him out.

I walked out of Half Blood Prince because it was the worst thing I’ve ever seen ever in history of ever ever.

Birdman.
I get very angry when I think about that film.

I think that might be the worst movie I've ever seen. I should have walked out of that, but kept waiting on something to happen, anything, nothing happened

I only walked out of a horrendous Michael Cera movie. Youth in Revolt.

What about Bob?
That movie character (Bob Wiley played by Bill Murry) was aggravating the hell out of me. Instead of being an enjoyment, the movie was pissing me off.
Low key one of my favorite Murray roles. Everyone’s known a Bob in their life.
It’s funny when you haven’t been their victim.

I'm ashamed to say that I even spent money on this movie, but Madea goes to Jail. The wife and I just wanted to relax for a couple of hours, watch a movie, eat some theater food. There was nothing much else out worth seeing.
Theater was surprisingly packed for a Tyler Perry movie, and also surprising was the fact that there was a lot of white people in the theater too. (Didn't know he had that crossover appeal) Halfway into this shite fest of terrible acting by Keisha Knight Pulliam (Rudy from the Cosby show) and Derek Luke (Booby Miles, Friday Night Light's) I just couldn't take it anymore.
I mean Pulliam was so...terrible. So much so, like a jerk I loudly said "alright, I'm done" and just left.

Little Nicky
Adam Sandler was coming off of Happy Gilmore, Bulletproof, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy and Big Daddy. The expectations for this movie were high at the time. At the very least, you would expect to be mildly entertained.
Utter trash. First time I walked out of a movie for no other reason than the movie itself.

I spent about half of the movie Midnight Express either in the lobby or the bathroom. I was 17 and my bf wanted to see it. I had never seen that kind of torture, etc. before and just couldn't handle it. He said we could leave, but he really wanted to see it, so I just hung around the lobby. It had great reviews and supposedly was really good. I'm sure I could watch it now, but probably never will because of that experience.

I almost walked out of BvS because I thought the theatrical cut was one of the worst movies I had ever seen.
