I really get the feeling that Marvel will regret the decision to not recast BP.
I know they were trying to pay respects, but man, I don't think Shuri's actress will be able to carry this franchise. Her character isn't nearly as likeable as Tchalla.. Not to mention Namor is supposed to be like a big freaking deal right? Isn't he basically Marvel's version of Aquaman?
It's not believable in the least bit that Shuri, 5 minutes after becoming Black Panther, will be able to best him.
Marvel would have been better off delaying the release for a year, utilizing that time to find another young solid actor to take the reins from Chadwick.

Not a lot of content to judge. It looks cool visually.
As with anything else, if it’s a good plot it will be good. If it’s a cGI circle jerk with no story it will suck. MBJ played a great villain in the first. He will be hard to top.

I can't tell which character will be the gay in this trailer. Will it be the new Black Panther or Namor?
And before you melt and down vote me, remember that Disney already said a prominent character in all their movies must be gay going forward. No more token gay side characters, only prominent ones are acceptable now.
Who will it be? I think it has to be male as the black female lesbian angle has been played out in the last month (Valkyrie in Thor, that chick in Lightyear, pilot in Jurassic World Dominion, Moses in Kenobi, etc).

I was really hoping they'd trot out Killmonger to pick up the Black Panther mantle. I have no idea how he died in the first movie, but surely they could have found a way and made a nice redemption arc.
Well done trailer except I have no fricking clue what any of that was about. Without any real stars it's goig to be a tough draw.
