Wrong. Iron Man was the bad guy.

Are we talking people that remained villains the entire time or villains that did a face-turn like in Pro-Wrestling?

In Deep Space Nine, Gul Dukat stayed heel until the very end and was a great anti-hero.

Vader was face then did a heel turn then back to face...

Which is it?

You're judgement is suspect. Let's just play along though. Even in Infinity Wars he hadn't gotten a pass. Rody was instruct him immediately when he reappeared. The government never gave him a pass for his perceived indiscretion.

That’s what happens when a naive farm boy with limited education and exposure to the greater world experiences a traumatic event while being recruited to a dogmatic religion.

He’s not really a villain. He’s an antagonist but he doesn’t do anything evil. shite, 2 of Rocky’s coaches are killed by other boxers.

Came here to say this. Apollo was a fantastic character. Stallone could’ve taken the lazy way out and made Apollo a shallow bad guy like Mr T or Drago. Instead he made Apollo a confident showman with serious boxing skills but also an honorable man. Basically a real person.

Don't know about villains getting a pass, but did a search of this board for the word villain because I always like villains in most movies I feel like, and in many cases the best characters get absolutely shite on...

General Grievous?
The Night King?

Can't think of anymore right now.. but damn General Grievous deserved much more in Star Wars.

Luckily I have Star Wars Battlefront II and can pwn n00bs with him there.

I think Damar would be a better example. Went from being Dukat's first officer, killing Dukat's daughter, wanting to kill Major Kira, to leading the Cardassian rebels and fighting side by side with Kira. Dies a complete hero.

ETA: if you never watched Deep Space 9, I thoroughly recommend you do. The last 3 seasons are peak Star Trek.

piccolo did more damage to earth than vegeta. He conquered the damn planet and killed the dragon yet his reincarnated body kidnaps a 5 year old only to save said 5 year old's life in a later fight and poof, he is a good guy now.

Think of all the other planets destroyed by Vegeta though.

General Grievous?

Darth Maul was the most fascinating character in a shite movie, but also the wider context of the triple trilogy.

Surprised Magneto has yet to be mentioned for movies and comics.

Galactus is also defended during the trial of Reed Richards- although I think that's only been portrayed in the comics.

Jean Grey is often sympathetic as well when becoming the Dark Phoenix.

And Dottie for dropping the ball:)

I just always feel the most interesting characters are the ones that die off just as quickly as they were introduced.. Captain Phasma as well. Even wanted to know more about Snoke.
