Video games to Movies

We've obviously been getting movies based on video games for a while now, in spurts, but what are some that you think would really make great movies now that the technology is there.
For me, I'd love to see a Dead Space movie, would make a great sci fi/horror film. If I had my choice, I think Blomkamp would do really well with it.

I think KOTOR would be good in a TV series format if Disney actually cared.
Also, because of my tastes, Baldur's Gate would make a great movie (BG 1), but DnD type of movies almost always fail. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, being an outlier.

A GTA movie is something I'd watch.
Or a "Be A Pro" movie based on a career game mode for an athlete. Thinking of something like Bulworth meets Lord of War stuff.

X-Com: Enemy Unknown would make a great prestige series
Half Life
Deus Ex
Elder Scrolls titles would be good ensemble series, but the base stories are too weak to be a movie

Gears of War series is currently in the works at netflix. Looks like it's gonna be a prequel to the games

With all the IP Disney owns now a Kingdom Hearts trilogy would be epic if it was anyone else but the current brass in charge.

Blomkamp directing a Dead Space movie would be absolutely insane. His gritty, industrial sci-fi style would fit the Ishimura perfectly.
Personally, I'd love to see a proper, big-budget Bioshock movie. The atmosphere of Rapture with modern CGI and practical effects would be breathtaking if done right. A psychological horror/thriller in an underwater dystopian city is just begging for a cinematic masterpiece
