Just because someone doesn’t have to register as a sex offender doesn’t make the act legal, it just means they don’t have to register
I understand people being hung up the 10 year gap which does seem high, but 2 things can be true at once. A 10 year gap is too large and there’s no reason for a 19 y/o to register as a sex offender for have consensual oral or anal sex with a 17 y/o.

While I am not saying he DOES NOT want to frick Ellie. . .I am just saying it doesn't necessarily mean that, and it certainly isn't obvious that he means that.
Or am I missing a part of the conversation that is more compelling?
