Out now.
The first episode is better than the entirety of s3 which was a total abortion.
I actually liked it a lot and was thoroughly entertained. Really good reset for all characters.
If you can get over the ridiculousness with Ellen Page early in the episode, which was cringe as frick, you’ll be ok.

Half way through episode 2 and it's really good.
There's some good cast additions like Nick Offerman and David Cross.

We have enjoyed this show since discovering it when season 3 came out. After binging 3 seasons it felt like it took forever before this new season came out, it might take more than the Netflix recap to remember everything that was going on.

I was cringing at how many times they had to say "Victor." No one talks like that. Then the top billing but she seems to have the fewest lines in the show

Yea they are forcing so much "macho man" persona out of he/she/it. It has threatened to beat up like 3-4 people now, before getting her powers back / It is dumb, but the show has always forced that issue.
First episode was quite boring, but through episode 3 now and the story is definitely picking up. As always, 5 and Klaus carry the show.

It would definitely help. Even with the recap at the beginning of this season, I was still being like WTF is happening again, and I watched the third season. There are a lot of moving parts from last season.

I'm curious if Aiden Gallagher is going to start getting some stuff in the near future once this show is done. Seems to be a really solid actor and has a good look about him to do well. Little bit of Timothée Chalamet vibe to him.

Viktor needs to leave the show. The character has no use at this point and it’s cringe af.
