Would you too quit bickering over toxic masculinity and get back to bashing this shite season...

Please and thank you

I was actually hopeful after the first 2 episodes that this season would be decent to below average. I can't think of a worse finale of a show I watched. You didn't even need episodes 2 through 5 with how it ended.

I’ve watched a lot of shite TV in my time.
A LOT.
But I can’t recall a time I was ever pissed at myself for wasting hours of my life. Until today.

Came here for comments, and was not disappointed.
Can I add a few questions? What was the deal with the half headed person in the first episode? They never revisited this? WT actual F? ??
And why tell us that the dead domestic chick was hit with a left hand, and Wheeler was right handed? Or vice versa.
Why did the ice cave look like a refurbished set from the Land Of The Lost show from the 70s? I half expected to see a Sleestak was behind it all.

Also….a bit of TD trivia… Who first said “Time is a flat circle”?

Ding. Ding. I’ve read people attribute it to Rust but he only repeated it.

After 3-4 episodes I would have said S2 was still worse, but this finale was just incredibly terrible. No doubt about it that S4 is the worst, and this is coming from someone who dislikes S2 a lot.

Yea I didn't catch that until my last re-watch. I did a small double take when he said it. Such a bad arse episode.

The only significance of wheelers handedness is that the cover up for Navarro killing him is they said he killed himself with his left hand because of the angle.

Season 2 episode for episode is worse than season 4 but season 4's finale is so bad it entrenches itself as the worst TD season and it's going to be hard for anything HBO puts out to be worse.

Yeah, I got the part about which hand is dominant when he “killed himself.” However- didn’t they also make a point to say that the girl was hit with the opposite hand- to make us think she wasn’t killed by Wheeler?
Maybe I have it crossed up in my head.
Who gives a shite?
Worst thing I’ve ever watched. I defended this show until about episode 4 and held out hope. I’m an idiot.

Those are obviously paid audience reviews because this was the worst television series I’ve ever completed. It should have a single digit audience review.

Yeah, it was an akward scene and horribly explained.

All of her photos had been flipped in the files, but was confusing about her highschool picture too.

Dunno why they even went through the trouble of making it a point of mystery. The entire series showed us clearly that Navarro was a violent, murdering sociopath. I knew exactly what happened from the first time it was brought up.

Wait, now that I think about it... Didn't they claim that Wheeler was left handed, so all of the damage to her would have been on the right side of her face, wasn't that it?

So his left hand was his dominate, that he would hold the gun out of, but the gun shot to his head was on the right side?

I'll have to go back and watch, but i'm 99% sure that Navarro, when they pan in the final episode to her actually shooting him, was on his left side.

Also why were some of the scientists eyes burned out? frick I hate this show!

But this may be my favorite thread from the last couple years because it is so incredibly easy to shite on this show and how bad it is.

Nvm, she does shoot him from the right side, however, they fricked up in a totally different way.

In Ep 1 or 2 when they originally show the scene, Wheeler is facing the other way in the chair.

In this episode, he is facing the entry way, so his right side is now on the right side of the screen, when it was on the left in the originally scene.

I knew Navarro was on the right side of the screen in the final episode when she shoots him, but didn't realize he was facing a differnt way

Naw dude, their memory was an unreliable narrator until episode 6.

I have a photogenic memory and knew Navarro was on the right side of Wheeler when she pulls the trigger.

Didn't think it was him that was facing a different direction.

The only True Detectives this season were the ones who found Navarro’s sister in an hour, without ID, in the dark without being reported missing

Been saying this for two weeks...How in the hell did the coast guard (or whomever) find a body out in the frozen ocean in the middle of the night on Christmas eve during a blizzard, within hours of her disappearance, that no one knew she was missing. When Navarro went back to the rehab place, they didn't know she was gone or report her missing.
