GoT is on a completely different level than Hobbit or LOTR. I never liked Tolkien's books or the movie adaptations and I'm completely hooked on GoT. Lots of people who don't like the fantasy genre watch it, love it, and read the books; that's what happened to me. It also helps that it's more of a Middle Ages-sort of setting and the fantasy elements aren't as in-your-face as Lord of the Rings. More political scheming and maneurvering/intrigue than fantasy shite occuring. And since it's HBO, you know that it's going to have sex, action, and everything else in between.

I remember one time I was eating lunch with a couple of people and they started arguing about some arcane, minor inconsistency regarding Middle Earth in one of the LOTR movies. I just had to point out . . . "There is no Middle Earth, motherfrickers. They can make it be whatever the frick they want it to be. Who the frick knows the difference?"

Marty doesn't have the eye for crazy pussy that Rust has. although the Jameson shut that eye for Rust in this episode.

I can appreciate that, but it doesn't change my opinion that this specific episode, especially comparatively, was boring and a little too drawn out.
I'm not shitting on the show as a whole. This specific episode was just my least favorite.

But let me go concern myself with my children, since they're going to grow up retarded and all. a-hole.
