Don't think I won't come in here talking shite if we find out they talked after Rust's interview and before Marty's. Motherfrickers.

i think this episode serves more to tell people to stop freaking out about over-analyzing this show

I don't think Rust would wait to meet Marty after he has already spoken with the detectives
He wants to know what they asked him and what he told them. Maybe he wants to see Marty's demeanor after speaking with them. See if he has an ally. Someone who knows what he is under suspicion of and buys into his side. Pretty cut and dry there.

Marty was pissed at Rust because of the cheating thing and presumably the two hadn't spoken much (if at all) since their altercation.
Time has a way of healing all wounds.

Also, the detectives asked Marty in one of the previous episodes if they had kept in touch. I believe Marty says no - and the detectives said that they heard differently.
Detectives tend to lie to get people to confess to stuff, even if it's not the confession they are after.

it's amazing how shitty people are with following the details on a show...completely about details.

it blows my mind b/c i've only watched each ep once, and most are in a half drunk buzz
some people watch like 3x by the time i comment (not this time, obviously)
GoT is similar. they watch, then re-watch immediately, and watch on monday...2 of the 3 WITH subtitles and they still don't know what the frick is going on.

You start the Hugo's Liste for Season 4 yet??
Is this some Game of Thrones reference?
I swear to God I cannot fathom that show's attraction. Maybe camp value for two or three episodes, but not much beyond that.
Of course, I loathe The Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, and all of that silly anachronistic shite (hated it in junior high, hate it now).

I'm working on an alphabetized spreadsheet.
I'll probably start an official list thread a week before the premier to expose the literati and keep the Hodors safe.
Serve the realm and shite.
Looking forward to it

Well, it def did that. I really have no interest to go search reddit to look for crazy theories about one comment that was made.

GoT isn't really fantasy, though. it has slight fantasy elements that increase over time, but it's much more of a socio-political drama set in a medieval-esque time

Not my thing either but a lot of people like it apparently. Different people like different shite I suppose. I personally won't watch any tv show or movie where I can't believe what is happening. I don't get into fantasy and make believe shite. I'm just not that interested in somebody else's imagination.
