I've been looking at Marty since E4. I was waiting for the writers to throw out something solid, like a bottle of acrylic basic blue paint in the kid's bedroom.
Then last night they told us that Marty killed a 10 pointer, the same amount of points as the one on Dora Lange's head, so that shows he'd have the means/availability to make that crown.
I'll help you out, Decatur.
The morning after they found Dora when Marty wakes up on the recliner after being awoken by Maggie, Maggie comments that she has missed him the last couple of nights (or days - can't remember)
What's his alibi for Jan 2, 1995?

Has anyone questioned how quick Marty was to kill Ledoux? Like he didn't want Ledoux alive for interrogation. Hmmmm. At first I understood if he had found a kid he knew or his own daughter, but not to react that way to strange kids. I don't know. Struck me as odd I guess.
This ......he is a homicide detective , you would think he would be adapted to seeing that type of stuff....
The only thing I could come up with is he was having family issues and issues with his daughter and it set him off....
Still I hate to think he's involved or covering up for someone...
Btw I have never read an entire 70 page thread ever.... This shite is interesting ......

I have about 45 pages left in this thread to read. Worth reading?

He had never drawn his weapon in the line of duty, according to him. He also said the Dora case was the worst he'd ever caught. It's not like he's numb to finding dead(or dying) kids.

I loved Rome, but was never involved like this. I have watched, rewatched and paused and examined minutely scenes that I think may be relevant. I have gone back and forth over every scenario that I can imagine. I need to take a step back.

When exploring Ledoux's place, Marty saw things which disturbed him greatly. Things which seemed to indicate Ledoux was a Bama fan. Justice was served.

I feel you. I'm becoming obsessive. I almost wish I'd discovered it later and binge watched.

Rust is actually still in the mental hospital and this whole investigation has been staged
Would make this show almost exactly like The Killing

This. It would have been better to watch it all in one day. I will obsess over this all week.

I have been watching every Sunday since the premiere and have grown more and more obsessed each week. It is truly addicting.

Anybody think Audrey is going to play a role in the abduction of her little sister. An evil girl sacrificing the pure/good child.
That's assuming you believe Marty's kids get involved somehow with the cult or are victims of the cult.

We're all obsessed because this show = the play The King in Yellow.
Mind blown.

I have often thought the audience is the true detective trying to figure this series out.
