Seems like a combo of Trainwreck, Sex Drive, and Failure To Launch with some The Girl Next Door mixed in with it. I’ll probably give it a go when it hits streaming.

This is why I am skeptical of what the ending angle/message of this movie is going to be. No way it just ends as a comedy with a relaxed funny ending.

she is weirdly wrong for this part and not funny/sexy enough, plus she is 32. do we want to root for her to become a couple with an 18yr/o?
whether they end up together is irrelevant, you have to want them to be together to make the story work. otherwise she is just a prostitute
to me you either go much older and play it dysfunctional sexy MILFy type and make it really weird
or much younger closer to his age and much sexier like Sydney Sweeney and let her have fun with it
alice eve nailed this character in reverse in She’s Out of My League, imagine if she was the aggressor inexplicably chasing an oblivious Jay Baruchel in that movie. what a different movie that would have been
this is a Jaime Pressley or Brittany Daniels special event 20 years ago

Oral got her the role on the Bill Engvall Show at 16? Oral got her nominated for an Oscar for a role she filmed when she was 19?
I suppose it's possible, but Harvey Weinstein wasn't involved in those projects, nor was he involved in casting her in The Hunger Games, which came before Silver Linings Playbook.
Even if she got that role from sex with Harvey, she was already a movie star. She's just an actor you guys want to dislike, for seemingly no reason.
