Well according to mizzou, if Hateful Eight is not a western, than No Country for Old Men surely isn’t lol.

That said, if No Country for Old Men is a western, I’d add it to my list. It was amazing

Really happy to see 3:10 to Yuma remake getting love. It was the first modern Western that I saw in theaters and it was a great and enjoyable film.

Why not? The film is set in the West and involves US Cavalry and Indians. John Wayne built his career in that type of movie

I consider this sort of like the Goodfellas of Westerns.

You have to drop everything and watch it.

It's not the greatest Western but very Shawshank. It's become a classic.

The good the bad and the ugly is not only the best western, it’s one of the best films, period.
