Ok so I’ve seen a few mentioned in this thread, but westerns have never really been my thing. So I made a list of ten to try to check out when I find some time:

The man who shot liberty valence

This isn't just my favorite Western...it is my favorite movie of all time. I don't care what I'm doing...if I walk by a TV and it's on, I'm stopping and watching until it's over.

A fistful or dollars
For a few dollars more
The good, the bad, and the ugly
Outlaw Josey wales
The searchers
High plains drifter
Unforgiven
Quick and the dead
The man who shot liberty valence
The homesman

Forgot to say, I added two more to my list:

Once Upon a Time in the West
The Magnificent Seven

Also, I found a seller on eBay selling bulk western DVDs, and was able to pick up like 9 from my list of 12 for about 34 bucks in total. My wife and girls will be out of town for over a week starting next weekend, and I plan on diving into these as much as I can while they're gone. Westerns have never really done much for me, but I am actually fairly pumped about finally watching some of these.

I first watched the movie 30 years ago, or so. In the last 15 years or so, I've walked by a TV with it on twice. Both times, I parked my butt on the couch till the end.

Wyatt Earp for the 90s

Slow West- for the after 90s or 00s. I also like that Tommy Lee Jones and renne zellweger one ?

Any of the Leone westerns is a tie. Well, I could rank them.

Tombstone is mtvish and their moustaches look fake. I want my Doc to be frail and diseased too.
