This would get a lot more action if it was labeled as a Mount Rushmore of Pixar films

I hate Pixar and what they've done to "animation".

Legit list. And Onward was a very good movie. You should check that one out. I still haven’t seen Soul, personally.

I think people prop up the first 7 minutes too much. It’s a great film, but WALL-E does that for 45 minutes with barely a word being spoken, and I think the themes on the Axiom are particularly powerful especially when looking at it through the prism today. Keep in mind that this movie was primarily produced before the iPhone, and they were spot on with what they were warning us about. WALL-E is a movie so perfectly written and directed that if you were watching it in a foreign language, you would almost perfectly understand what was going on. You wouldn’t understand the pizza plant joke, but I think you’d get everything else. That’s a hell of an achievement.

I like Up but the movie is insanely overhyped almost solely because of the adoration people have for the opening montage with Carl and Ellie

in terms of what Pixar has accomplished for me not including sequels it is barely one of their top 10 movies

Toy Story
Wall-E
Inside Out
Coco
Ratatouille
Incredibles
Finding Nemo
Bugs Life
Monsters Inc
Up

I would put all 3 Toy Story Sequels over Up personally

Toy Story is better than its sequel and Cars is better than Soul. Onward is easily the better 2020 Pixar release.

7) Toy Story 2

Meh, I tend to think 2 is the weakest of the franchise. Still solid, but not as whimsical as 1 or deep as 3 and 4.

Toy Story
Finding Nemo
Toy Story 3
Monsters Inc
Inside Out
Wall-E
The Incredibles
Up
Coco
Ratatouille

Toy Story 2, Brave, and A Bugs Life are really good, too. My list always changes depending on my mood or what I have seen recently. Soul and Onward werent as good as they should have been. Great concepts and visuals but didn’t nail the execution. They felt more like Cars than top tier. Toy Story will always be top for me. It got absolutely nothing wrong and still holds up today in many, many ways.
