That Netflix group especially is just horrid
These shows come and go and pop for a few days then get drowned out by all the other content coming out each week and it has zero staying power . If it doesn’t go viral and become meme material it gets forgotten quickly

I've not watched any of this.. and the one's I've actually heard of I'm not shocked no one is watching them...

The kids and I liked the Mighty Ducks show, but it had some problems. And when they fired Estevez, well, what's the point?

Surprised it lasted this long. I've never seen a show get so close to being decent, then run screaming away from it so many times. It's like their theme was "we're going to specialize in almost not-sucking".

Doom Patrol
Booooo!!! It was goofy and quirky, but it worked.

Doogie Kamealoha, MD
I had no idea that this show existed but I would guess it was an attempt to remake Doogie Howser but with the main character being Hawaiian or something. Extra woke points for being female.

What? WHAT!?! Gaying up high fantasy doesn't make it more popular? Well, you just consider my pearls to be clutched!

No shite? The last (and only) season was 2 years ago. Whoda thunk it...

Have I introduced you to Doogie Kamealoha, MD yet?

They still have original programming???
No, seriously. I thought they were down to nothing but running reruns of Flash and iZombie.

frick you, Starz! frick you right in your frickhole you fricking fricks! I hope this show gets picked up by Netflix or Prime and they do a season about a shitty jobber named Starz McCool who constantly gets his arse kicked then kills himself by OD'ing on donkey cock.

They have a handful of original sitcoms on the service that go 1 season because of the way they (don't) hire writers. I'm paraphrasing something I read on Twitter a while back so I may get some of the details wrong but it was about Netflix specifically.
They hire a head writer but don't give them leeway to hire a writer's room. They have him write a few episodes and then contract out re-writes/punch ups to three other writers per episode. It's all separate and it's all done as "one-off" work. They'll write a few more episodes and repeat the process with even more one-off contract workers.
So you end up with incongruous episodes that generally suck comprising an 8-12 episode season that they don't have much money invested in and that an algorithm handles all the marketing for. If it hits great, if it doesn't, it's still 5 more hours of programming someone will stumble on and binge at some point and then completely forget.
ETA: It's actually worse than that. They farm out for spec scripts and then farm out the punch ups.

A handful of those that are good shows cut short.
Yeah, that's a real problem for the current state. There's so much noise that geniune gems don't get any real attention and fall by the wayside.

Cancelling Winning Time is dumb AF
Probably the really high bill for the actors did them in

Never heard of any of them. Hollywood needs a purge. Make some of them get regular jobs.

Max better not cancel Peacemaker or I will be pissed.

Now that the subscription numbers have stabilized they will cut way back on quality and quantity. And we will pay more. For less. A lot less.
And the next big thing will come along and replace all that. Talent and capacity follow money.
The Hollywood Studios forgot all about supply and demand during the height of the comic book era (2019) and then the pandemic skewed everything.
