This kind of sucks.

Among a slew of criminals and gangsters populating Paramount Plus’ streaming catalog, Mobland has stood out as a hit. The show broke a record as the service’s biggest global series launch ever, with 26 million views over its first season. Critics and fans have given it high marks. But now? There’s a problem. Apparently, Mobland has just lost its star.
According to a new report from the reliable Puck News, Tom Hardy has been fired from season 3 of the series ahead of its return. Why? There are a number of listed reasons, says the story:
Hardy was consistently late to production during season 2.
Hardy gave frequent script notes and changed dialogue.
Hardy was upset about the ensemble cast, including big names like Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.
Hardy’s behavior led producer Jez Butterworth to nearly quit, and Paramount fired Hardy as a result.
This kind of sucks.

Hardy does not seem very likeable to work with on any set.

Good for standing up to these primadonnas

He was late seems suspect when all the other issues were similar to what Cavill was said to have done on The Witcher.

“The reliable Puck News”
Seems like an odd way to lend authority to a source.

This used to be a mark of good actors. Now it’s a reason to fire actors like they fired Henry Cavill

Odd wording for sure, but Puck news is one of the best in the business

I'm surprised anyone could understand his complaints

We see what happened when Costner left Yellowstone. It ended it.

There's some UK gossip that they were trying to Witcher this show. Turning into a Helen Mirren show as well as the actress who plays Hardy's wife. Heard on the radio driving this morning. Could be BS, but it would make sense.

That’s really too bad. Hardy was good on that role.
Mirren is terrific as a Lady Macbeth type…

Seems contrary to what I’ve heard about him in the past.
