I think the Loki(MCU Movie Loki) we all know, the one that was "killed" in Infinity war is the one in the castle. The one we have been following in the series is another Loki(D+ Loki).
I think he somehow setup/took control of the TVA and is killing off all the other Loki's so he can be the one and only. The only one who could challenge him was Sylvie and he has drawn her out to kill her. In this episode we already saw another one that looked just like him. So why can't the MCU Movie Loki be the one calling the shots?
Just my guess.
There is no way we get a major villain like Kang reveal in this series.

A simple bit of curiosity can lead to a lot of potential spoilers.
Such as:
SPOILER
Who is Ravonna? Who/what is Alioth?
Both characters point almost directly to Kang.
What Marvel villain deals with the concept of time travel and alternate timelines? Kang, again.
This show is sure tossing out every breadcrumb for Kang that it can, and we know the character will be involved in the upcoming Spiderman movie.
We also can gather some other breadcrumbs relevant to Kang, and to other characters-
Kang is related to Reed Richards and has dealings with Doctor Doom, so this opens the door to the Fantastic Four. Fwiw, Agatha Harkness at some point becomes involved with the FF too.
We know they're coming.

The MCU has been influenced by different storylines and even individual panels from the comics, but they make their own stories from the source.

Ant-Man not Spider-Man.

I think a lot of the Mephisto stuff from Wandavision was driven by the fans, there were some things early on that led you to think of Mephisto but mostly we the fans took it and ran with it.
Whereas Loki is straight up hitting us over the head with Kang, over and over and over again. That’s why I’m going to be disappointed at this point if it isn’t Kang. I’m going to be even more disappointed if it’s another Loki who is behind the TVA.

This is true, but given her appearance in WandaVision, I don't think they are going to go with Agatha as the governess of Reed and Sue's children. Heck, I really doubt they will even introduce the children at anytime soon.

I tend to agree, kinda.
I think Kang is running the TVA with Ravonna as his proxy (theyre in love)
And this was their plan to bust Kang out; as Alioth was keeping him in that castle dimension.

Richard E. Grant was the best thing out of all of the three Disney+ Marvel series.

While I would love to see Kang in the finale, I think the much more likely scenario is we get a post-credits teaser of him, a la Thanos after the first Avengers movie.
If nothing else, by the third D+ series I've been seasoned to take reddit's crazy theories, water them down by about 70%, and voila (!), the realistic scenario presents itself

You’re setting yourself up for disappointment then. I find it more enjoyable to temper expectations and just let the story they’re trying to tell unfold. Speculating is fun, but people get too absorbed when their fanfic doesn’t come true. There has been zero mention of Kang to this point, just Easter eggs throughout and the time connection. There’s also a fricking Thanos copter
and Throg, but those are just fan service.
The likely result has been the same to me for the last couple weeks. It’s another Loki variant, or perhaps an older version of our Loki or Sylvie (maybe both) beyond the void. They have to confront the “one in control” that Loki always wanted to be in order to truly change. This story is his, not Kang’s. That’s an Avengers level villain that they’re not just going to casually drop as a big bad in the final episode of a tv show.
At the absolute most, maybe we’ll get an actual Kang reference or post credit scene like with Thanos in the first Avengers. To expect something more is to court disappointment.

I absolutely loved this series. I liked Loki before, Tom Hiddleston is a phenomenal actor. But they really made me love this character. He's a true anti-villain.

The old Loki going out like a boss was badass. Shows how powerful he can be when he wants to be. He is a god still and gets watered down so much at times

Is Loki getting a season 2?
I've seen only a few websites talking about it but none of them were mainstream and something that looked to confirm it
